We count whole calendar years from your date of birth, then whole months, then the leftover days — the same way you'd say "32 years, 5 months and 3 days". Because months and years vary in length, this is more accurate than simply dividing the total days.
The total days and total weeks figures count every calendar day from your birth date up to the "as of" date, midnight to midnight. Weeks are just the day count divided by seven.
We find your next birthday on or after the "as of" date and show how many days remain. If you were born on 29 February, in non-leap years the birthday is counted as 28 February.
